Is the JR Pass worth it for Osaka to Hiroshima?

How much is the Shinkansen from Osaka to Hiroshima?

A reserved ordinary seat from Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima is about ¥10,640 one way, or ¥21,280 round trip. All Sanyo Shinkansen services leave from Shin-Osaka, not Osaka Station, so allow a few extra minutes to reach the platform.
